Will there be focus trees for East Asia as well?
The mod's great, even after considering that it's mostly still in development.

I was thinking about the possibility of having whole playable nations in East Asia. Communism survived but is on the brink of collapse, and I think that would affect the dynamics of China and North Korea. I know that East Asia has some level of playability, but will the developer add more focus trees and whole decisions and stuff that make it as enjoyable as other major nations?

The developer will most likely focus on proxy wars first, with North Korea already having sort of a civil war and falling under Soviet influence. Though once the mod is structured it is possible.

That might be the focus trees of the PRC, the ROC, Korea and Japan, whom it might be possibly from Millennium Dawn or Red World.

Mongolia will have as well that deals with the continuing reign of the Mongolian People's Party.
