maybe if I compress those other 2 into a single weapon, the werndl-holub could join in.
True... will admit when I first saw it, I thought it look like the trapdoor rifle
What about percussion cap rifled muskets, like the Springfield 1861-1865, the Augustin Infantry Musket Model 1842, or the Lorenz rifle
Also may I suggest (should you delve into more WWII weapons) the Suomi KP/-31 with Liekinheitin M/44 underbarrel flamethrower?
Tempted, but I am a bit wary of adding "useless crap deals 2 damage 50 seconds to reload" type weapons, its the reason I haven't bothered with the volcanics either. ATM I am eyeing lever guns in 30-30 to make one for this mod.
Flamethrower KP/-31 is an awesome idea, its on the list if I get around to making "Antiques IV" or whatever I would brand a WW2 guns mod.
If I may argue the case, there is not currently a percussion repeating rifle (IIRC). I propose it as a percussion counterpart to the Ellis-Jennings repeating flintlock with some tradeoffs (but overall an improvement). Generically, it would be unable to use buckshot and would have a five-shot capacity.
Relative the Ellis-Jennings, it would have a single reload that is faster than the sum of the EJ's reloads (due to the loading of the removed bar instead of through the muzzle of the musket).
Relative the Colt SAA Carbine, it would have a slower reload (still not as fast as metal cartridges) and slower follow-up shots (manual indexing of the bar).
I'm specifically using Jonathan Browning and Henry Gross percussion harmonica rifles as my basis. But I respect your decision if I have failed to convince you.
Regardless of the harmonica guns, the consideration of this Suomi KP/-31 variant is what I was most hoping for and I am happy to see its reception as warm as its underbarrel attachment. Here's hoping for an eventual WWII pack.
I've been convinced, just need to figure out if it fits better in here or in Antiques I.
The dragoon is neat, I'll keep that one in mind
The paterson probably wont be added
