MADNESS: Project Nexus

Wingidon's Miscellaneous Enhancements
Proper Video Guide?
Alright, i got no other choice but to ask you guys for a video guide to this ♥♥♥♥. I've tried for weeks, which turned to months, but i cannot get this mod to work. It's only giving me the noob hirelings, with the corpus having question marks in them. Can anyone make or have a video on how to fix or how to work it out?

I will likely make a video guide some time in the future.

Okay, so you've subscribed to the mod and you've got it enabled in-game, evidently enough. So...

Step 1: Download the custom Assembly-CSharp.dll file from the Google Drive link in this mod's description.
Step 2: Navigate to this directory: /steamapps/common/Madness Project Nexus 2/MadnessProjectNexus_Data/Managed/
Step 3: Take the file you downloaded in Step 1 and put it in that folder, overwriting the Assembly-CSharp.dll already in there.

Let me know if that works for you.
Uhh, ok i'm about to do it, but for some reason, it also shows a 'PART File' called 'aK3KYQyV.dll.part'. it was downloaded at the exact same time when i downloaded the assembly file

That SHOULD go away when you refresh the directory you downloaded it to. A "Part" file is a partially downloaded file, in essence.
alright i deleted the base assembly-CSharp.dll file from the game and left the custom one in it's place. but when i do that, it caused the game to become stuck looping on the game opening screen, showing the companies that made this game.

Make sure the file is named correctly, has the correct extension and is in the correct directory. It should be Assembly-CSharp.dll in \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Madness Project Nexus 2\Madness Project Nexus_Data\Managed

The issue you're describing here is caused by the game failing to find an Assembly-CSharp.dll file to read from.
hmm... maybe i should try to instead of just deleting the file, instead just delete the contents of the base one and copy and paste the custom one with it?

Still not working? Hm. Well, assuming you followed the instructions correctly, I'm not sure how to help you further.

Using a program like dnSpy to replace the contents of the base Assembly-CSharp.dll with the contents of the custom one MIGHT work but I'm not sure. In theory, it would, but in practice, unexpected things can happen.

Good luck.
Usually i don't delete the already existing Assembly-CSharp, but i instead replace it

Probably doesn't do anything but check to see if that works. You might have to reinstall or verify the games files to get the original assembly back.
