How to make your own custom hirelings
The character file requires to contain "Is a Hireling / Is a Minion Hireling / Is a Hero Hireling" in the character description
Standard hirelings have a 75% chance to be generated, out of the remaining 25% there's another 75% chance (~19%) for minion hirelings (aka fooder enemies such as AAHW, N51, Nexus etc) and the rest are hero hirelings (aka named characters such as hank, phobos etc)

Goated Wingidon Section
When making your hirelings, to add their unique focuses and weaknesses, you will need to edit the json file manually and add the respective custom traits in the traits section:
  • Heroic - Won't generate random armor items on the hireling and will not update its title either
  • NoExtraBehaviours - Random behaviors are not generated
  • NoExtraTraits - Random traits are not generated

  • StrongAcrobatic - Primary skill priority will be acrobatic
  • StrongMelee - Primary skill priority will be melee
  • StrongRanged - Primary skill priority will be ranged
  • StrongUnarmed - Primary skill priority will be unarmed

  • WeakAcrobatic - Last skill priority will be acrobatic
  • WeakMelee - Last skill priority will be melee
  • WeakRanged - Last skill priority will be ranged
  • WeakUnarmed - Last skill priority will be unarmed

  • StrongAcrobaticMelee - Primary skill priority will be acrobatic or melee, secondary skill priority will be the other one
  • StrongAcrobaticRanged - Primary skill priority will be acrobatic or ranged, secondary skill priority will be the other one
  • StrongAcrobaticUnarmed - Primary skill priority will be acrobatic or unarmed, secondary skill priority will be the other one
  • StrongMeleeRanged - Primary skill priority will be melee or ranged, secondary skill priority will be the other one
  • StrongMeleeUnarmed - Primary skill priority will be melee or unarmed, secondary skill priority will be the other one
  • StrongRangedUnarmed - Primary skill priority will be ranged or unarmed, secondary skill priority will be the other one

  • WeakAcrobaticMelee - Last skill priority will be acrobatic or melee, third skill priority will be the other one
  • WeakAcrobaticRanged - Last skill priority will be acrobatic or ranged, third skill priority will be the other one
  • WeakAcrobaticUnarmed - Last skill priority will be acrobatic or unarmed, third skill priority will be the other one
  • WeakMeleeRanged - Last skill priority will be melee or ranged, third skill priority will be the other one
  • WeakMeleeUnarmed - Last skill priority will be melee or unarmed, third skill priority will be the other one
  • WeakRangedUnarmed - Last skill priority will be ranged or unarmed, third skill priority will be the other one

sorry for the dumb question..,., wanted to ask how you actually go about making a hireling... if it's within the assembly, could i get some directions as to where, and maybe a template on how to arrange it? im not the brightest, and dont have any experience with this eitherr.. :slugcatdead:

The current version of the assembly of this mod allows you to make your own hirelings without needing to edit the assembly.
You just need to make a character whose file name contains the word Hireling

Yes, you need to make your own hireling character file, or if you want to, just edit one of the pre-existing ones
