i'm getting a large influx of people who've been asking for the lists where to start and how to get the bloods, so here we are:

1) The first form is the standard "evil/dark" demon form which is done by consuming the blood vials in this order: 1) Vial of Demon Blood ~> 2) Vial of 'Muzan's' Blood ~> 3) Vial of Lower Moon's Blood ~> 4) Vial of Upper Moon's Blood~> 5) Vial of Demon King's Blood ~> 6) Xalgoth's blood

2) and then there's the path of the "Free/Light" demon form which is obtained by consuming the blood vials in this order: 1) Vial of Demon Blood ~> 2) Vial of 'Muzan's' Blood ~> 3) Vial of Lower Moon's Blood ~> 4) Free Demon ~> 5) Sun Elixir

Unlike the "Dark" demon path, the "Free/Light" demon form can be cleared at any time with the standard Anti-Kibutsuji drug while the "Dark" path which starts at upper moon can only be cleared by using the Anti-Xalgoth drug.

there are two types of vials that prevents you from burning in the sun:

Sunscreen which lasts 15 minutes

Sunscreen Enhanced which lasts for 30 minutes.

Sunscreen (10 Bee Wax + 5 sunflower oil)

Sunscreen enhanced (1 vitamins accessory + 10 bee wax + 5 sunflower oil)

Vial of Demon Blood (bottled water + heart crystal)

Vial of 'Muzan's' Blood (10 demon blood + 5 crimtane or demonite bars)

Vial of Lower Moon's Blood (10 Muzan's blood + 5 hellstone bars)

Vial of Upper Moon's Blood (10 Lower Moon + 5 hallowed bars + chlorophyte bars and 3 souls of fright, sight and might)

Vial of Demon King's Blood (5 vials of upper moon + 5 luminite bars + five fragments of solar, vortex, stardust and nebula)

Xalgoth's Blood. (drops from the boss Xalgoth)

Free Demon (10 Sunscreen Enhanced + 5 hallowed bars + 5 spectre bars and 3 souls of fright, sight and might)

Sun Elixir (1 Blue Spider Lily + 1 Vial Upper Moon + 5 bundles of Wisteria flowers + 5 Sunflower oil)

Anti-Kibutsuji drug (10 Demon Blood + 1 Sky Blue Flower + 1 Strange Plant *purple*)

Anti-Xalgoth drug (1 Xalgoth's blood + 10 Blue Spider Lili + 10 bundles of Wisteria flowers).


non crafted ingredients:

Blue Spider Lily (dropped by Xalgoth)

Bundles of Wisteria Flowers (sold by Rengoku NPC after Plantera is defeated)

Sky blue flower (found in jungle rarely)

Strange plant, (found growing around the world in hardmode. has to be the purple plant, the other three wont work https://terraria.wiki.gg/wiki/Strange_Plant)
