I don't know if this is a bug or not, but in defense mode, the enemy AI only appears for a few waves.
Yeah, I feel like I've been waiting a very long time for the next enemy wave, in one defense mode, maybe only 3-4 waves.

My experience was waiting 6 or so minutes for the waves to start, but the waves were just impossible to deal with. Spent all my resources on 2-3 bmp squads, medics, and some AT but the AI had 4 times that number each wave and there was no way to defend against so many.
