Would there be a Magnum Tracks version? Or no??
Could I be honest here? They were no driveable TrakPak3 Trains and even so, the non-TrakPak 3 train couldn't fit the TrakPak3 tracks as well. I mean, the map looks pretty good though.

I hope I'm not being rude, or anything, just saying and asking, and it's just a question if there would be one someday. :(
If not, then okay...

Also, someday, I might try to make TrakPak3 train become drivable, with a few tips.

Maybe someday we'll get the Magnum Tracks update. Honestly a real big L move that I can't run my CBH trains on here. Thank Gaben this map is in alpha, so Magnum has time to fix this mistake.

At least there's drivable TrakPak3 one I found here:

No, this map is not for and will never be PHX gauge. TP3 is intended for trainbuild.
Simply put, this map is not for you.

Simple, you BUILD the trains, and there was never any driveable TP3 trains in the 1st place lmao, so uh- goodluck and id suggest getting started if you're actually willing up to building such models

It is the map for the people who simply just wanna drive trains around and have fun. I don't see any harm into adding a Magnum Tracks version for people who don't really know how to build trains but still want to enjoy map with sigwolf, etc. I mean not everyone knows how to build trains for TrakPak. I could be all wrong about this but its always nice to have choices for everyone to enjoy what they want if you ask me.
I think we should be allowed to sample both cake flavors so that every taste is satisfied. One version of Sunset Glitchtrap 2 with RSG and one with PHX, that way everybody can be satisfied. If it takes longer to make a version with PHX because the RSG version was built first, fine by me, take all the time you need to make it functional.

Admittedly there are advantages to both track systems, but I lean more towards PHX. If there were more diesel locomotive trucks and wheels that were in RSG gauge, I'd be more open to it. This is coming from somebody who is a hermit and never goes on servers or plays with anybody (mostly because I don't have any friends).

just build trains, its not that hard, and dozens of tutorials exist online, Magnums discontinued support for TP2 anyways, Just drink the RSG Kool-Aid
FoxMechanic 2024 年 9 月 24 日 下午 2:26
@Engineered It's not a mistake. This map was never designed for PHX. Either learn how to make trains in trainbuild (there are some great tutorials out there, especially on youtube!) or don't complain

My dude, that was obvious sarcasm, please check someone's profile before you assume that they're an idiot.

I tried the CBH train, but errors aside, getting it on was an absolute nightmare, and even if I did manage, it refused to go faster than 5mph and complained about a wheel slip. And sanders didn't seem to work. So I guess it isn't compatible after all.

Incidentally, I did measure the gauge using GRule, and from inner edge to inner edge was ~142cm. For reference, standard gauge is 143.5cm, so it's really close, though I'm not sure by what mechanism gauges are measured IRL. Comparing the SligWolf Rerailer, the smaller of its two rails is 177cm and the bigger is 203cm, which are wildly inaccurate to any gauge, the closest being the 6ft gauge formerly used in New York and which AFAIK is no longer used anywhere. Ron's 2ft Track Pack is 31.94 inches, amazingly close.
