Hey, can't seem to find a config setting for leaving timer, do camps no longer have a leaving timer? Or can it no longer be changed or disabled?

I don't suppose this is a bug/error (but an issue so I decided to take it to here) as the rest of the config is clearly there, so I don't assume you need a log for that question. Nor do I see any related errors. Though if you need one anyway, I can provide it.

@DemonX3, good question. I actually didn't notice that the setting was missing, I'll take a look and track down what happened to it (I don't recall removing it, so it's possible that it's just a UI bug).

As for as bug/ error/ issue reporting, this is perfect! I'm mostly trying to avoid spamming anyone who might be subbed to the mod comments for updates/ discussion with unhelpful error reports and support/ diagnosis messages (plus it helps me prioritize notifications).

@DemonX3, huh, I spun up the old 1.4 version from workshop and the leaving timer setting isn't there either. Behind the scenes, the code to save the variable is there, but it doesn't appear to be used anywhere, which is super weird... I'll need to do some more digging and quite possibly housekeeping.

(As a general heads up, I've got at least one other mod in the pipeline that I'd like to get polished up and released, so it may take me a bit to circle back and get this one sorted out)

It's alright. By the looks of it, currently there simply isn't any forced leave at all, which is fine by me, though someone might want it back eventually. Though I do remember there being setting on 1.4, I remember changing it to 0 from default. Weird indeed.
The forced leave was always stupid imho, it should be balanced the same way other incident maps are in vanilla: With periodic raids if you stay too long.

There appears to be an incompatibility with the Vehicle Map Framework. It creates a micro map on a vehicle which doesn't appear to be detected by the "is the camp abandoned" code.

If you create a vehicle (I used crawler but probably applies to all) + driver seat, create a caravan and try to form a camp with that caravan it works *but* as soon as there is no one in the drivers seat *and* no one on the main map the camp is declared abandoned, even if you have someone on the vehicle map.

I'm currently working around this by enabling permanent camps, but it would be really cool to have compatibility since the vehicle maps work very well for nomad runs.

There isn’t a reform caravan button when I set up a camp, I am trying to leave but it won’t let me
