why there is a cracked version of the mod in the workshop? Is it even safe?

Nope, it's perfectly legal as it's only a third party addon for an officially licensed product.

press space when an X shows up near ur crosshair. Left Mouse Button to go up while on hook and Right Mouse Button to go down.

this is not a cracked version because this is made from a demo of beatrun and then the playtime limit and ip grabber (yes the original demo had a ip grabber but not this one) was removed also i used it many times with my friends so i think it's safe to say it's fully safe to download
