Edit: Done to this submod
Well, the mod work only with mods not erase the vanilla ideologies. Isn't possible to made a mod to be compatible for all, except if it is possible to readd the vanilla ideology without erase the other sub-ideology (need to check). Otherwise, if you (or another) want to do a submod patch of Doki for KaiserRedux by example, it is okay. Only to set the dependencies to this mod, and all you need to change is only:
Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I tried to do it with the Red Worldux mod. The game doesnt crash, but the event of the Dokis spawning does not show up at all. I might try to check the RW mod files to see if there is any instance that maybe triggers something that stops the DDIC mod from working (i honestly have little idea of modding so I might not be succesful on it).
Oh, and another thing. I saw how there were artworks of the Dokis with actual military uniforms in the loading screens. I dont know if you got them from the internet or if you paid someone to do it or whatever, but it would be neat if you actually got those dokis with actual uniforms as the portraits for the Dokis, since it would be quite inmersive that way.
Very strange. The mod change states also? Otherwise, check in case if you turn on this main mod and you set up right the dependencies of your patch. For example, I test this mod on Runeterra mod (note: this mod has also the vanilla ideologies), and work fine.
The thing is, for example, in the Equestria At War mod (it has vanilla ideologies, but the map is completely new), with your actual original mod, it works just fine, even when the map is completely new.
The only thing I did was go to the files you mentioned earlier and search for the idologies along the code, and change it into the code that is shown in the ideologies file of the RW mod (i made sure to place ideologies and subideologies correctly), and then start this modded version with the mod, and it just wont trigger at all (it does recognise the mod and show the options on the game rules, where I put the Dokis to be forced to spawn on my country). I hope i dont sound like a nuisance, but I dont know how to setup dependencies (i honestly dont even know if I have to). If you want, you can DM me or something and I can show you screenshots of what I did.
Open your descriptor.mod file (is like a text file, you can open it with Notepad), in your mod folder, then, you only need to add this:
