When you set 4 drums and interact with the turret, they are ejected towards the asteroid.
There's not much to do there other than jump around the map.
so, How can I get back to the playground from space?
I was thinking of the bird-humans in “yume nikki” or (as the creator mentioned on its website) the warp to the “room you can't leave until you wake up” after being caught by the kaibutsu in “.flow”.
I thought it was an easter egg like that because there was no way out at all
I don't know how to describe "it" - what I felt exploring this map, the map itself, and the things that are in it that I discovered.
I discovered the weird pedo-house and the HEAVILY IMPLIED s/xual abuse first, due to the fact I spawned on the roof.
Never went through sexual abuse myself, but the feeling of being violated was definitely a vibe I didn't expect to revisit in a Gmod map (not in a terrible way per-se. It was just unexpected).
In the school, there's a picture of a dead dove with the text "destroy traditional values" on the bottom - this is the one that provoked the most of a reaction out of me, because I couldn't tell what the map designer that placed the image there meant, BUT, because it's in a school, and in the ajar doorway, it says "f/ck school", I decided to interpret the dead dove picture as to do the OPPOSITE of what it said.
(Alternatively, I'm looking WAAAAAAY too deeply into an element of the map that could just be there for shock value, but I decided to share that part anyway)
And then shooting yourself to the moon in a literal canon after placing the 4 barrels to get away from the world portrayed in this map, only to be isolated on an asteroid, and it's just a different flavor of Hell in its own way and not a solution (Which, I appreciate the map maker for putting in).
Playing with the wisp around the playground, fighting through a maze to enter the light, and fighting what I think is supposed to be an inner-demon was honestly the experience I will remember as bringing me a lot of inner peace for reasons I don't know how to explain.
And then there's the funny ritual you gotta find the head and leg for.
I found the leg, but no luck on the head. Yeah I got no clue how to solve that.
I feel like I understand the world within the map, yet at the same time don't. I have no idea how else to say it without it coming off weird.
There's more I want to say, but there's no way to say it without it coming out wrong, so I'm just gonna leave it here.
10/10 map.
that video scared scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me, really wasn`t expecting that
