Rudimentary Level

Level Direction
Anyone have an idea for where I can take this level? I would like to create some interactive elements, but currently that is above me. I also would like to fulfill the Workshop title; As currently this is the only level in the workshop, I think it'd probably help other creators if a simple but well-featured level was made by someone in the community, with ultimately the source files provided as well.

On a side note, I've tried making the level look more 'Trine'-y through the use of multiple spotlights like in the Official levels, but it's no where near the quality of Frozenbyte. I'm thinking it might need fog or clouds or their colour effect filters or other stuff they use in their levels.

Our instructions at the moment are very limited in the Frozenbyte Wiki. Better instructions would help a lot but getting better instructions would also require a bit more users to the editor.

Hopefully this will evolve into something bigger :)

Lucas, you have been a great help so far testing the editor and reporting bugs!

Hi,

Seems that the screenshot has been updated but my workshop still downloads your old level.

I wonder has the upload process failed or is my download failing.

What is your local file size for your custom map?

You can find it from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Trine 2\custom\318487265\lucas.fbq

My file is: lucas.fbq 2 724KB ( 2 788 471 bytes )

Mine is the exact same size, though it has the timestamp of when I exported it and I tested it on my local copy and it was the new version, however I subscribed to my workshop item and I'm getting my old level as well. I'll try updating it again with a slightly newer version and I'll post back if it updates or not.

EDIT: I think when I updated it I selected the .fbq from the original local copy of the workshop item.

Yep, it appears I actually had updated the mod with itself. I updated it then correctly and it's working.
