Repairing Village bugged
So I tried to repair a village but was attacked by a patrol midway. I beat the patrol, but now, when I unpause and no matter what I do, the game keeps cleanly crashing to desktop. I tried to make all possible changes in the options, even tried to use cheat to teleport away, tried to restart reconstruction, or leave it altogether - nothing works. I even completely deleted the mod and redownloaded it, verified the game files - nothing worked.

Alright, so I downloaded the version from moddb and after upgrading it to "early access" to 1.5.3 and copy&pasting my save game, it worked. It seems the Steam version of village repair is bugged. In the Steam version of the mod, whenever a village is finished being repaired by the player, the game simply crashes. It wasn't the patrol that led to it, but the whole player repair mechanic is broken in the workshop version.

How do you repair a village? When I clicked that option, nothing happened

You go the village ruins and read what is written in the village screen. You only have the option to repair, if you have 3 wood and 1 tools in the inventory. Otherwise you only have the option to leave.
