Power Problem
Not sure what I'm doing wrong here, but hydroelectric generators aren't really giving power to anything. I got 10 of them daisy-chained with power pipes to 3 mining drills but they can barely make a single one run.

Is there some explanation as to how power works with these? The Thermal Generator works fine and outputs a decent amount of power (for some reason coal is a better thermal fuel than buckets of lava)

Here's roughly what my setup looks like [ ]-[ ]-[ ]-[ ]-[ ] and another set of 5 stacked on top of the others with some tiles in between and power pipes connecting them all.

So do hydroelectric generators just suck or am I doing something wrong? Also I've been to the planetoid lab but I couldn't find any wind generators. Maybe those can help?

My hydroelectric generators are working normally and can supply power to machines.
Is it that the power output is simply too low, or are they really not providing any power at all?
Keep in mind that hydroelectric generators need to be fully submerged in water to start operating when you see the drainage fan spinning and bubbles coming out, that means it’s working properly.

Yeah I had 12 of them fully submerged and they struggled keeping a single drill going in spurts.

It does seem that some improvements are needed — I’m starting to suspect that the MK1 generator is simply too weak.
