A few of my points, with some spoilers.
So I made it as far as I can get to with the story part as of this date, and its pretty solid. I really did feel that we departed from the 50s. I even just played the SNES reboot before this one, and had a nice little smile at certain parts. The random encounters are many, and that was nice having to be careful while exploring the maps; especially since I like playing squishy mage builds. I really wanted to get to the bottom of what happened, it was a great start and the story telling made me think I was playing the base campaign in some parts.

I didn't like not being able to slot items on my runners the way you normally could. I don't know if you were going for the immersion of "Yeah new decade" But it was frustrating that I had to pay nuyen to access my stash, and not even put items on runners. I don't want to have to dismiss them, and reinstate them. Now if in later builds, where if the runners don't stick around. That's fine, but from Yak ambush to Royal apts was frustrating in particular because I had an abundance of fetishes for Mouse.

Slaag had a tendency of falling way behind, I zoom and sometimes stray to far ahead of my group. The other runners are still in the fight. There was a couple times where he is just so far out of the battle.

I love Rapido, I wanted to run with him all the way, but he was too much of a setback. I think a little bit of a buff in his melee would be great, maybe make him even tankier too. At least make him hit more and hit a little harder Its crazy how much a step up Cane is to Rapido in both combat and decking. I was getting crits from long range with Cane. I played it normal mode though, I don't know how it would be in higher difficulties. Its just crazy that we went from a guy that can barely hit the side of a barn with a baseball bat to a pistol sniper.

That being said, I do like the options of other runners. I didn't mess with them all, but I liked Julia and that elf samurai you meet at Bob's Beer Factory. Grace seemed amazing, its just that the three I picked meshed well. I saw the Dwarf Rigger late.

I don't know if I missed something, but I couldn't do the side runs from Milky. I saw you updated all this, and stuff. I might have not updated. But I was getting the "I don't know you well enough yet." Then he was all like, "You can do some of *MY* Runs" But he went with the "You're too much of a big timer for me." Soon after. I can't give any feedback.

Also, about the runs. I don't know, the ghoul bounty was cool and the decking runs were okay. But the runs in the Industrial park were the same thing, didn't matter if it was Erin or Moon Man. I just assumed you haven't gotten to making more of them yet. I'm not going to lie though, it was pretty tough to stay interested in them. Especially since I got to blow up the waste disposal units three times in a row. I dipped once I got the spells, and gear I wanted.

The main runs however were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. Couple things though. In the Royal Apartments run where you go undergound to get the access. If you don't kill the pervy Dwarf, and go in the room where he shot the person. He blocks you in the room and you have to reload. Someone might be a doofus like me, and let him live then regret it. Also in the Royal apts: The game kind of freezes if you mess with the stash thing near the matrix locked door. I know it confuses the game if you access drone things it without a Rigger sometimes in the base game, but this kind of stops working at this point.

That's all I can think of right now, I know this is really early so I understand a lot of the things are still in the works but I loved exploring the maps.

First, let met thank you for taking the time to post feedback on the ALPHA version of my mod! I am happy to read the positives (departing from the 2050s, nods to the SNES and base game, etc.). I am also very pleased to find the maps are entertaining enough to be explored, and the main story missions were received so favorably. Again, THANK YOU FOR THIS!

Second, let me attempt to address some of the other stuff mentioned in a spoiler protected post. Please understand I cannot make every change timely, nor can I address every concern, but I will certainly try to fix the things that are within design philosophy and within the limitations of the DFDC editor (not HK). I need to read things like this to become aware of what has become invisible to me, or I just have not encountered yet. THANK YOU FOR THIS FEEDBACK AS WELL :)

Slotting items on Runners. In order to make the stores and other inventory systems actually work in combat areas without breaking team members upon zoning, the only way this is possible is to have the team members pick up an item while in turn mode (often during combat). But, your assumptions about how long the hired hands stick around are correct and the issue you found is a (current) issue due to the system not being fully implemented. I will monitor this more during a BETA phase.

Slaag’s movement. Slaag is a dwarf and they have movement limitations; WAI (j/k). That is literally just something that happens when the PC clicks super far away from other party members. They also walk THROUGH fences and stuff. Very annoying, but part of the engine (as far as I am aware).

Rapido and other Runners will be getting buffs and items to make them a bite more usable. This refinement will happen later, for sure. And I will need lots of opinions and feedback like this to find the sweet spots.

Side Runs from the initial Johnson are VERY temporary. They are only available before being off-loaded to another Johnson. Due to NPCs currently being VERY docile, it is easier to advance the main missions without the need to find out the first guy offers them. I feel this will sort itself out. Will monitor after updates, however.

I will address the other dwarf thing you mentioned and the issue accessing your stash. I thought I had corrected the stash issue already, apparently not :)

All good, I didn't notice you messaged back. I like this campaign and figured I could put a few things. I also noticed that I got a lot of movement issues with in the other campaigns I played after this one. I felt like an ass, my bad haha.

No worries x2. It's hard to tell when something is just part of the experience because of the engine or an error. I'd rather someone call out something potential I need to be aware of than not. Also, I am not super savvy at posting on Steam. Trying to get better at making proper replies.
