First season doesn't mean a thing. right now i have shiny new car being built where i was able to buy all the best parts available to me for 1.9 million. it's a 3 star car for season 2. I am in negotiations with my drivers from last season. Very few drivers are in my price range and most others don't want to join. makes it challenge to keep her going. i did pick 1 quality Mechanic and an average one as well. i went with a cheap designer cuz the best in the game isn't gonna get me any higher in the standings.
Pit crew is a nightmare. not enough slots in f3 to have replacements for everyone for every race so having to move them around and doing my best to keep everyone fresh. In 2500 hours in game this is the first time i have had play round robin with the pit crew. Nice challenge.
One suggestion though. Or maybe it's more of an observation. The game always ends a rainy period or a dry period going into rain at a time where tire wear is fairly equal to laps left in the race. I have not seen a mod that will randomize that. It is the only thing left that will make the game better for me. Events that are more random and less predictable.
There are few more things that happened but i had no issues. oh yeah Money sure sucks first season. 50,000 a race plus another sponsor with 750,000 upfront is all i had all season.. but I did end up with a level 2 factory and cars that will have better start season 2.
I am not complaining or criticizing anything about this mod. I grind thru season one as always.
I enjoy the challenge. I hope this gives you some idea of how it played out for me and that this is how you planed it. I think i will feel like i accomplished something if and when i score some points.
I'm going to see what other things I can improve and I'm going to work to make the next vaniila mod better. but the truth is that these mods are not "like "unofficial updates", but more slight balance adjustments for better gameplay, so there is already a limit to what can be created and what cannot.
Hopefully someday a more complete MM 2 will come out or they will enable more tools to modify the game.
I believe that the few active mods that remain should open these types of channels to be able to finish perfecting the mods more and more.
Unfortunately you are right, the game is declining and there are manager game options that are not at the pro level and bring renewed experiences. I wish something could be done, I'm not a programmer but I would love it if someone tried to make an MM 2 on their own. I think the only thing that can be done at this moment is for the community to stay united and that's how we will achieve it every time. more things.
Thanks for commenting on the mod, every opinion helps make this better. thank you
for a MM2 a while ago. Was there any fruit from that or was that just a troll?
and your driver is doing pretty well, even through he didn't manage to win any title he managed to win some race and some podiums, and finish 2 times 4th in F1.
So far only one driver managed to win 2 F1 title(back to back), and 5 different constructors won.
If you need some kind of help about project related to the game, i'll gladly help, i've been a player since the beginning, but somehow been a little bit bored by the fact races were pretty boring and championship quite predictable, so your mod + the other one revived the fire, thank you for this, i'll try to push my save at least as far as my longest one has gone(season 2038 +more than 250 races)
With the issue of driver errors, these multiply from the second season onwards, and even more so if there are strange changes between teams and drivers.
no problem with driver errors, it's the other mod who manage it, to make it more dramatic, your mod has nothing to do with it. for now i didn't see any conflict between the 2 of them. it seems even in simulation best drivers seems to win more than less quality drivers but are clearly not assured to win.
