How to us Farms properly?
Hello, I recently installed and am trying to use the Farms to boost my game performance.

It seems that I have to assign animals through the interface button (1 at a time with no filter), then assign them through the owner button (1 at a time, with filter), then activate the correct animal in the farming button.

Is that how it's supposed to work? It seems like a lot of repeated commands. (This isn't a criticism I just want to know if I'm doing it wrong/there's a conflict)

I've used the breeding and production farms for a little while so I should be able to help. You have to assign what animals you want to have put in the farm with the assign button, and then make sure to feed the farm with a hopper. If you're using the breeding farm you'll also have to set population limits with the slaughter tab.

The farming button allows you to restrict what animals can be put into the farm, like how a pen marker lets you restrict the animals in the pen.

I've had my farms working (and reducing my pc load a lot) for dozens of hours without ever using the owner button or changing anything in the farming tab so you don't really need to worry about that.
I see, thank you very much for the help.
