Ok, i just think that maybe if you'd made the not blue part of the gun look more 'textureizedgraphitey' it would look so sweet. it already does, but were talking about perfection (in my eyes ofcourse lol)

This indicates that your design is really lacking no offense just criticism. If people prefer scratches and junk on your work that shows that the eye is uncomfortable with what it sees AKA your skin looks unnatural and more to the point- unrealistic. You may want to tweak the color balance and tone because right now it looks more like vector art than an actual painted gun.

i dont think most people realize this is a gun that took me 5 hours to make and it was purely for fun, i dont expect this to get in-game or thought it would get over 100 ratings

I honestly prefer field tested.

also the fact that people dont just like the factory new version is good, people will be happy with whatever wear of the weapon they get
