fun and/or buggy things I found so I don't cram the comments
stuff found so far includes:
people with inhuman blood being unworthy of magicking in any form
gorse being banished from the mirror realm
souls can be taught magic, including doll magic, allowing them to activate and then possess a doll, becoming functionally immortal as the soul is severed as the doll's 'activator' upon possessing it

oh yeah also I figured out how the rose works for soul stuff, it's in the context menu
