Gigo's/Sety's exterior discussion (Title under consideration)
So, I'm thinking of making an exterior for the rewrite. This shall be the discussion of my progress. Yay.

The first day is upon us. I'll be trying to convert this thing [i.imgur.com] into GMOD.
First things first, the doors. I must admit, I was VERY lazy while making the door for this thing. so, it's time to make myself some white parts of the door.

Cinema 4D is currently saving the files. Eternally.

Switched over to 3DS Max.
Imported and started fixing stuff (Windows might need fixing on the back)
Fixed handles and glass.
Rigged the doors.
Somehow the models in-game did not actually get replaced. Gotta look into that.

In-game. Untextured, spawning on it's side and giant.
05/01/16
Spawning on it's side, giant, ♥♥♥♥ed up UV mapping, BUT BLUE!
Also, just noticed, not all the model parts were exported. Probably gonna have to do a new .smd file for each model... yaaaaaaaaay.
Nevermind, Wall Worm has this nice little button called "Append" on the helper. Now, all I need to do is make it smaller and make it stand up. Because TARDISes, as far as I know, don't go through the ground on it's side.

Glad that people are adding into this Add-on. Looking foward to the finished product of this exterior and this add-on.

I'm starting to think I/Ogre doesn't support Cinema 4D R16. If that's the case, I'll probably have to learn to use other animating software. Welp, this exterior is going to be quite the adventure.

Blender is a good software. I use it, it looks hard but its pretty easy.

Blender is a good software. I use it, it looks hard but its pretty easy.
Blender's Source tools are not very ideal and they aren't exactly well documented.

I'm actually learning blender right now so I can make interiors for the TARDIS!

I've decided to try out 3DS Max. Managed to import the TARDIS and, after some attempts, the massive list of materials[i.imgur.com] contained within it. Next step: Making glass again.

Figured out the glass. Might post some pictures of it in 3DS Max later. Just have to figure stuff out first.
