no wk? he's pretty good now that his vampiric aura works correctly, in fact i finished impossible mode alone with him my first time

best tanking hero base on passive skill not actived? i think its should be mention all skill set.
- PA its unfair because his ult is passive and more likely not tanky hero more carry.
- SS armor lower than DK, 522MS its not so special just get nox upgraded or blink boot 410 or 522 its reachable on any hero.
- Spec drop down from the best tanking into museum (was)
- Tiny same as PA its best as summoner rounds can wipe out with agh or splash pure.
- Troll, yeah only Q that acually used and W 4 point. E.... R well on mid game ur team will have 0.13 or ..0.17 BAT (fall down to hybrid roles into just a hitter)
- DK top 3 tanky hero
- Sladar its an utility hero i think, stun , minus armor ... initiator hero
- Nyx..meh...more like utility hero
- morp... depend on the stat selection
- axe top 3 tanky
- levi... so so
- brewmaster no comment...
- PL... tanky? its more likely carry until mid game he can tank it with illu but still not that great.
- BB keep him on low tier
- drow its nerfed heavy, she not she was to be
- yeah right darkseer passive?

on this late patch if you look at dmg meter more likely int has biggest output since 1st round, if ya play physical on NG+ until you got rapier its take ages to kill boss.the vary output dmg caster make some int hero are to good to be true, and 1 str caster so outstanding. while agi heroes has they own time back then but now its caster time :) so here is my top 7 list :


1. DK for single target tank aggro ult
2. Axe multiply target aggro skill
3. WK, meteror no problemo with lv 6 ult. yeah he need some hp and armor to start tanking proper, dont worry its can aggro easily
4. Lone druid, can be awesome its played with correctly, the trouble was sometime out of control for macro. aggro bear
5. Pudge, due its not a true tanker more likely to play it as initiator on early game with low armor.
6. Centaur, QER would be great with proper HP and armor and blood gem make it long way to go, your Q and R would bring you to red aggro
7. Tiny is not true tanker ,more likely tanky as long he has lifesteal like drow
8. Omniknight with proper item he would be awesome
9. Drow
10. LC / Sven

honorable mention that was great but now not so great :
- Viper was a decent tanky with -100 AS, but now -50... lets bring this hero to low tier.lol
- Spec bring this hero to low tier. dager to make aggro its not that great.
- Troll from hybrid into hitter.
- Clock utility
- CK carry
- and many more...

pa is still the best tanker btw , witha nox and beast tiachi

If all you're looking for is tank then morphling can easily get the highest hp and armor in the game with its new ult.

the title "Debate on best tanking hero based on survivabilty [passives]" its mean beside items and active skill are they? and dodge its self not that great and the crit its self need lifesteal. and if you want to added items and actived skills then any hero can tank, even int hero can tank with oldschool hybrid build up.

Lifestealer and Axe are the best tanks atm. Naix can solo the game by himself after he got SNY2 and Blood Gem.
