It does not work on visage. You can alt click on his 1st skill and see that it says Spell Amplification does not work. I am not sure about Antimage though. They are still pretty strong if you get -magic resistance items like the scythe upgrade and veil. I think spell amp doesn't work on bloodthorn upgrades either if i am not wrong. I remember reading an update saying that.

what bloodthorn does is make % of magic crit(i not sure how this works, its convert physical into magic as i have been request to dev or its make magic do crit). while lens amp that base nuke and veil reduce magic resistant i think or its said on tooltips.
from my exp veil only good on early ng+, mid and above its kinda suck due splash and huge range, even SD can 1 shot you. sycter max -150 is not that good on NG+, in the otherhand if you are caster might just rushing asura lens(even tiny can kill doom with his skills and rushing core for shorten CD is not a smart way while you do so little damage, yeah you can spam it but that is if you are still alive.)XD

the -magic resistance scyth upgrade is useful on magic hitters like AM and Visage. Combined that with bloodthorn upgrades. I played visage NG+. it wasn't bad with a proper tank.. Just got wiped out at drow round. Splash damage still is a problem. Veil upgrades like sun warrior veil is for nukers/casters specially.

yeah if you mention a rightclicker magical dmg type, you might added huskar on it, he does a lot dmg with that wombo items then scyth wasnt bad at all as you said,but for nuker is sound not so great better get something else.idk if AM Q is magical,its said physical or magical?

AM's Q is magical but i don't know if lens amps that magic damage. But lens does amplify his ulti Damage so i think lens is still a good choice on AM if you are doing magical hitter build.

PS: I just tested lens on AM's Q. If you have rage charges builtup, it does amplify the damage with lens.

been try on 1 game with full nuker hero, looks like i do some chunk of brust damage but due to poor team we did lost anywway. i only try 2 items wombo, should try 4 items wombo combo next time.XD

@houthakker : so how does scyth -150% works, does its apply to be right click hittest objects or on nuke hittest animation.. im kinda lost here
