I have played a couple of EBF matches hard/impossible past few days in SEA and majority of people I met there were new to the game. So they don't know the item builds for any role. Yes newbies pretty much spam this "ez" early rounds but end up abandoning after reaching rounds starting from Wraithking because "tank is noob, can't tank" or "This game is too hard" when they don't bother getting pixel, chrono powder or any other magic immunity items like you've said. Even sometimes at axe round these tanks who are under 100k hp claim they can't be dunked by Axe's ulti because they have a divine armor. But guess what that skill goes through magic immunity and only way to avoid is to get a linkens or have more than 100k hp by before that round....Also necro round some people in SEA claim magic immunity prevents necro's skills from killing them. I find it funny when they die to it after using magic immunity. More to it, not getting even manta/lotus to remove lifesteal/regen debuffs in golem master round and getting wiped out. Doom round also no magic immunity + they don't want to get in water when he is casting tempest when it clearly says on screen to get in water. I don't even need to tell them but I do even though they ignore it too. Too pro for doom, well played SEA players wellllll played.
1. Tanks: Typicals tank in SEA is only Axe and DK who builds this high hp builds (10mil+) with no evasion or armor whatsoever killing everyone in dragon+drow+ursa rounds and then telling ALL hitters to get lifesteal. Rarely I see a blademail. Only one aura is enough from a single voidmask/pale blood, but lifesteal isn't as good as it was before anyway. Met a semi tank only once playing underlord who got beastitachi + divine deso late game after gettin divine armor+Nox sword,bloodmask.
2. Hitters:
a) Pure based: No, not a single hitter I met build Huge damage dealing items early game to mid game. Most hitters tend to rush the typical semitank solo build as suggested items says. If melee hero: Items like bloodmask, divine heart/divine armor then try to rush wicked fury by getting Beastitachi and divine crossbow.... The funny part is SEA players don't know these 2 items don't work at the same time. And for ranged heroes also same build except I have seen drows and snipers getting -magic resist scythe item for crit... Also ranged getting beastitachi 1st and wondering why they do no damage, I find it hilarious. So those hitter builds does no damage at all until their wicked fury is complete. Which is past doom round. I get stuck with players like this in SEA who do literally no damage but just pinching like a mosquito at Doom round. And then everyone quits unless there is a magic caster killing it or decent carry play in team who knows what items to get (like divine deso and either 1 of beastitachi/divine crossbow/Bloodthorne upgrade) in inventory before Doom.
b) Magic based: like visage (and AM if doing magical hitter build) don't bother getting -magic resist items at all. Make some useless otherworldly core and lens upgrades only with mystic dagon. Veil/-magic resist scythe comes last or is not even considered. I have to bam head against a wall when i see useless casters/magic hitters like this who do little damage or nothing specially in late game.
3. Casters/Nukers: Same thing as above magic based hitters.
Overall there is no teamwork even. If you die, specially if you are caster you won't get resurrected until everyone is dead except tank. Or someone decides "oh look, there is a dead body nearby let me click on this grave stone". Hitters/tanks will spam chat or ping "resu pls, I have bahamut fang, lifesteal, divine armor". Calm yo tits, I ain't gonna ignore you dead bodies like you do to mine because I don't have this epic lifesteal or some item. Also hitters in SEA tend to think they can solo in impossible mode just because they have lifesteal and divine armor by treant round. No crit, just a voidmask/octarine core/butterfly upgrades and divine armor and you are tank lol. If they have proper items like crit, nox then sure but not with crappy semi tank items early game.
i found it hard to believe that if they were new to this mod since you can tell on lobby list SG server is everywhere even the sg server is still down, 2nd most available is stockholm, how to detect em :
- recently played : after several try out and fin the game, the force boots is their 1st item. and after fin spamming EZ game kaka
- some more recently: midas and always picking range right clicker, but still have poor selection of dps items, still with same issue with axe,wk,necro,doom etc, mostly that spam noob this and that.
- so so : this is where the alter ego that wont listen to anybody. and build as they like or experimental still lame build. still having issue with above list. spamming what they got etc.
- some exp dude : tired of right clicker, and play casters,less typing but more arrogant than avarage.
- decent : more likely just being a decent player.
- good : legendary, i never seeing this type of player for the last couple months now.
but well its a pub, what can i do anyway....except trying to give my bad shots for win or lose. but sometimes its just make me piss :)
and after tested perks with hope its will great, but its sound very lame. so my opinion is this patch is "not stabled" with many holes on it or its just made with intent to shut the ♥♥♥♥ off "EZ" barking.
fyi: my real battle on random pub impo mode only reach NG+ asura with me and just involker with Asura Chest & Rapier+some perks i think(i do forget about this part) with my core items on me still so hard to beat. so i think its need 3 minimal high exp players (you know on my region,lol)
ng+ has always been in alpha i have just now decided to actually work on it, therefore it is liable to sudden changes
was having a good game with stockholm fellow there even tho they cant speak english.
@ SoZe: Yea stockholm is better than SEA and nearby regions. it's EU. I play on stockholm servers mostly.
even i found its hard to kill 1 32 golem, does dealing around 3/4 of his full HP with 2x(dagon+finger+veil+impale) or with some my team mate attacting him,idk.
so my conclusion is:
1) no more 1 shot BOOM late boss.kinda seem right here cause its doesnt amp so much as hauktaker said.
2) and with the above reasons, nuker seem their have time on early and late game. kinda lack of survival on mid game due splashing or huge range or when you cast sun veil you will aggro alot or get 1 shot from spawned bosses next to you.
3) too related to the team or tanker most of the time.
so yeah, nuker was not they suppost to be, but i think its still reasonable due balancin.XD
Nukers and magic hitters both need a tank to take the threat 1st. They can't solo. Too weak to take a hit. Splash damage problems: I think the best solution to that is reducing the range of splash damage 1st. You can't get close enough to use a skill unless you have asura lens lol. I get a feeling houthakker changed something in NG+ other than item removal like that splash damage range and the huge damage of dragons. In impossible mode you can't dodge the splash damage of Drow or try to get around it even.
@ hauktaker : yeah max 4k amp, i believe before like 9k or something its quite a lot down grade tho, can its be tweak like around 5k, just my opinion tho.
