Only one gold mine?
Why are you only allowed to place one gold mine? If I try to place more it says "Ability is inactive."

Upgrading the mine doesn't let me put down any additional ones. Do you mean upgrade the item? How do I do that?

Upgrading the gold mine is the only way to increase your gold production as Treant.

On a side note, if you do sudoku your gold mine (which gives back full gold, by the way) or it dies for whatever reason, you can build another. You're just limited to one active mine at any time.
