Secrets/Things I've Found
These are, in no particular order, the things I have found on the map so far. Just a list of the things and descriptions of them. I wouldn't suggest reading this if you want to explore them yourself. I also include my own theories on the potential lore of this map based on pieced together details in the physical environment and decals.

Small Sunken Ship - Just a capsized ship next to a rock wall, there doesn't seem to be anything of interest here.

Large Sunken Ship - There's some objects like barrels, bath tubs and sinks inside, there's also a room with a few burned corpses.

"Fish" - Swims around the water, doesn't actively hunt or attack the player but does damage if you get too close. Also, it has a strange texture on it's front that looks like some kind of red crochet/rug pattern, it also resembles a face. When you get close the texture changes/disappears, I think that it is supposed to make it look like it opened it's mouth. That texture really unnerves me, I despise it.

Second "Fish" - Stationary inside the rock wall in front of the sunken ship. It has an image of a red face with no eyes and uneven teeth, it reminds me of a Moray Eel, but maybe I'm just grasping at straws. If you read the description of the mod, this fish is of course tied to the sunken ship jump scare.

Small Base/Outpost - The door doesn't open, but there is a torn hole next to it, inside there are a few objects, as well as a single shower, sink and toilet. Across from the toilet, there's a bed with a hole torn in the wall next to it. There is blood around the bed and entrance.

Bones - Behind the main base, around a few rocks a pile of bones partially sunken into the seafloor can be found - these are probably tied to the wreckage of the small base, the "fish", and the note listing the loss of two crew members (See #5 in the next section).

The Base - At one point I thought there weren't many things of interest to be found in the base, but once you look around they can be found everywhere (all of the following statements and theorizing are made under the assumption that all of these decals and objects are related to the map and not simply grabbed from something else, I explain this further in #6).
1. If you hit the windows enough with a weapon, they'll break, causing an alarm to sound, the lights to eventually fail and the facility to be slowly filled with water. This is actually really well made, with the lights and other electrical devices failing being procedural as the water rises and the rushing water sound stopping once the water rises above the broken window(s).
2. In the locked storage room, there are two beds, a chair, the Umbrella Man wall art and human bones on a plate behind the boxes.
3. Strange noises like creaking, machinery running, water dripping, doors opening/closing and noises from outside can be heard while inside the base.
4. The calendar in the break room was the first decal I noticed to have the date of 1974, this combined with other things leads me to believe this map takes place during 1974, probably during October.
5. In the lowest level, the dimly-lit maintenance rooms, there is a decal paper attached to the wall next to the decontamination shower, it is titled "Programmes" and the date at the top (1974-75) matches the date found on the calendar and other decals, it also has large red text about two of the occupants of the base/researchers having died, and another being severely injured and in the sick-bay. The smaller text on the actual paper is difficult to read, but I know that it mentions a Siberian Cisco, the Yenisey Basin and the Kamchatka Trout. After some research I found the Yenisey River, the longest river system in Russia and the fifth longest in the world, in it is the seemingly little known fish, the Siberian Cisco. And when looking up Kamchatka Trout I found a subspecies of Rainbow Trout known as the Kamchatkan Rainbow Trout native to Kamchatka, Russia. I find it interesting that both of these are in Russia.
6. In the previously mentioned sick-bay, the first thing you'll notice is blood on the ground next to the bed and on the wall behind the sink, however, the most important thing is an edited version of the poster board in Kleiner's Lab, the main paper is a floor-plan of the facility (this is what leads me to believe that all of these things are linked and placed/edited on purpose, as well as the matching date of 1974 showing up consistently). Another interesting detail is that Kleiner's face on the Popular Scientist magazine has been replaced, this same poster board can be found in several other locations.
7. There is a small connection hidden between the engine room and lower maintenance halls.
8. In the dark laboratory room there is an anatomy poster on the wall above the desk, it calls this fish the Chanda Perch. I did some research, and the Chanda Perch is not exactly a real thing, but the closest match is the "Chanda nama" or Elongate Glassy Perchlet in English, a freshwater Asiatic glassfish native to an area of south Asia.
9. There are several pictures of scientists around the facility, but I don't think they're of much importance because what little text they have is too blurry to read.
10. Just outside the airlock, on the deck, there's a broken lift.

My Theories - I'm not exactly sure what the meaning of the several references to random fish around the world is, I originally thought that maybe Chanda Perch was a code name or nickname given to the fish that swims around outside by the scientists, but I looked back at the maintenance hall paper and saw the other random fish and now I think that they might not be related to anything. The only straw I can grasp here is that maybe the thing outside is a genetic hybrid of these fish, but I don't think that's right. I genuinely have no idea or leads on what these three fish have to do with this map or that "fish" swimming around. I can't even say where this base is, because I would say somewhere around Russia but it also mentions the Chanda nama which is from south Asia. The only thing I know is that there were people inhabiting this research base, and now they're dead for an unknown reason that probably has something to do with the fish. Then again, there might not be any lore here, or if there is it might just be a little ARG style thing for people like me who put too much investigation into things like this.

My Thoughts - I love this map, I have ever since I downloaded it, it has an amazing atmosphere and so many tiny details. Finding that fish alone sparked my curiosity so much that I felt like I was playing an entirely new map. Sure it's a relatively small map but there's so many interesting things about it that I went on this whole investigation and felt the urge to write this, then come back months later and update it once I discovered more things.

either just go to the giant sunken ship or, go to the airlock open those doors then open the second door because the other fish usually takes a route with one place being in front of the door (not right in front but close enough to where you can see it if you shine any light source at it) Just watch out the face is pretty unnerving as the discussion maker said.

I like how you put quotes on "fish".
i randomly heard a flesh impact/interact sound distantly and quietly. it was NOT the meaty thud you hear with ragdoll

it might have actually just been a live melon hitting the wall hard enough to break. mods and stuff, but still, you never know
