Considering picking up the base game just to play this mod...
I haven't ever played any of the Mount & Blade games before and I've been thinking of picking it up exclusively to play this mod. I'm a longtime Warhammer fan so I know all that stuff. I play TW:W3 all the time, so I have experience with that kind of a game. My main question is how lost am I going to be trying to play this mod without any prior experience with the base game? I don't really have any interest in playing the base game, so if it's basically a requirement to understand how to play TOR, then I'd like to know so I'm not just wasting time and $. If it matters, I'm really only interested in playing the Engineer or Vampire Counts.

Thanks for any info! And to the creator of this mod, I just wanted to say thank you for all of your hard work, everything that I've seen so far in YT vids and Reddit posts has been simply amazing. I don't know if you're a 1-man operation or a team... but either way, very very impressive work! Thank you!

Its not a requirement persay to understand how TOR works, but it does help naturally.

You could alternatively watch a letsplay on youtube which will do the same but not make you play vanilla.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I found the mod when some of the YT'ers I watch for TW:W3 stuff crossed over and played your mod. After that I sought out some more long-play vids of it and between learning from that and just knowing the TT game (a bit) I understand a decent amount of the ideas of how stuff works, but there's a bunch of other stuff where I'm just totally clueless lol. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

Yeah then you wouldn't have any real issues except for the occasional vanilla mechanic, could always wishlist bannerlord and wait for a sale
