Mercenaries taking all the money?
Hi, I've been playing for a while and progressed to the later stages of the campaign so thank you for this wonderful mod.
I think I have noticed a significant problem with the economy though. It's summer of 2510 and basically every human clan is dirt poor, running around with parties of 12. Sylvania is doing great, Rich to Very Rich with lots of territories. What I think is happening is that Mercenaries might be sucking kingdoms dry and taking all the money. Every one of them is listed as Very Rich in the encyclopedia. During the early game I made 540/influence point which seemed high, but I don't know that might be possible in vanilla too. And not so long ago my fellow Reikland clans were Rich to Very Rich, and then Sylvania declared war and Karl hired 3 mercenaries. The contracts all ended not so long after and Karl and one other clan were Poor, despite having plenty of fiefs each. The other two AI clans were still listed as Rich.
I'm not entirely sure that mercenaries are the problem but this might be something that you want to investigate.

So why is everyone so poor?

Might just be displayed wrong in the encyclopedia, like companions are never where it tells you they are

By any chance, do you have a save game so we can take a look in case it is an issue ?

average was never 150 though, you get paid based on the influence you have, just like in vanilla.

Thats why you lose influence every day as a mercenary, 150 is the base pay without any, sufficient influence can easily get you 30k per day.
I started a new game, played as a mercenary for a long time and eventually joined a kingdom. As a result, I have to regularly sponsor the clans of my kingdom by 500 thousand each. Otherwise, they live "very poorly". And this applies not only to my kingdom. The two kingdoms with the most holdings have all their clans either "average" or "poor" in wealth. But all the mercenary clans are very rich. I do not use economic mods and do not touch the game's finances in any way. Any ideas on how to make battles of strong armies again, and not my gigachads against naked homeless peasants?
I think this is due to the fact that when the kingdom expands, when other cities and castles are captured, all the money is spent on providing garrisons. After all, with the expansion of territories, clans are not added to the kingdom, for this you need to destroy the enemy faction and then it is not a fact that the clans will join you. As a result, 1 clan can own many cities and castles, each with a garrison, and then there are expenses for troops, and villages are robbed by hordes of monsters, and you still need to pay mercenaries. And that is why they are "poor".
