Hero Suggestions
Requirements:
-Must be alive after Endor
-Is a legends character
-This is not necessary, but providing a unit suggestion would be appreciated.

Are you able to do groups that are tied to a specific faction/leader like how Zsinj has the Zann Consortium? As the Maw irregular fleet for the Imperial Remnant/Dalla and Pellaeon could be an interesting addition. Could give them a swarm of small corvettes/frigates that are normally tied to other factions like the assassin, Raider 1 and 2s, cutlass, marauders both standard and missile, a KDY strike cruiser, a broadside etc.

That seems like an interesting suggestion, but since Daala is already tied to Pellaeon's Regime, I have no intention of changing it. I also do not possess the resources to have a Cutlass model. That's a mechanic befitting of a added faction mod.

General Arnothian was a good choice, one I've considered myself, though an Imperial Escort Carrier might not be the best option. Perhaps a TIE Defender Squadron that spawns in two to three more TIE Defender Squadrons instead? That would fit better with his having access to TIE Defenders but lacking capital ships.

For additional Legitimacy heroes, you might also try Moffs Relans and Feleea from the Deep Core, both were minor Warlords and you could put one in an Imperial Patrol Frigate and the other in an Adz Destroyer, both of which spawn in a couple of support ships of those classes. There's also Inos Fonada, who was a renegade Warlord/Pirate with his own fleet of scavenged Imperial vessels.

I originally considered giving Arnothian a Ton-Falk but settled on a IEC instead since Devlia already had one and coding it would be a bit easier, I admit it's not the best fit but I felt that it seems somewhat suitable given his lack of resources and being in command of an out-of-the-way facility.

As for Relans, Feleea and their smuggler Lett Minak they have already been planned as a group, just not sure on their units.

I plan to make the Captains in the Grand Imperial Navy it's own group, so that's where you'll see the Adz, Gorath and Imperial Patrol Frigate.

I plan on giving Admiral Fonada a Procursator with Neutron Star or Battlehorn escorts.

It's a thought and one that might make the Storm commando group a bit OP but what about adding an upgrade option to Victor Strang to give him a proton beam equipped star destroyer like the one Piett has in the base game?

Also is it possible to set groups to unlock for possible integration after certain events i.e capturing N'zoth as Major Sorannon could be a tier 1 reward with the Intimidator for any imperial faction in era 7 that unlocks their tier 1 reward after the fall of N'zoth?

I don't intend to change existing legitimacy groups. Nice idea though. Once there are era locked legitimacy groups I'll add Sorannan.

Another one might be the Empire Reborn? The main problem is Admiral Fyyar with the Doomgiver not having an existing model but the Impellor could make for a close enough stand-in. Hethrir and Desaan can be ground units/stealth heroes like other force sensitive ground heroes. Plus Tremayne having the ISD2 Interrogator and maybe able to function as both a space and ground unit like C'Boath.

True! Perhaps one day, but I'm a bit busy right now so I want to add easier to make groups first.

Is there any way to add heroes to Empire of the Hand, either starting or spawning? Seems like they are lacking in both the economic/admin and agent/spy department.

I agree with you. First, locate EotH_Heroes which is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1125571106\Data\XML\Heroes. Then edit in whatever character you want. Then, you can spawn the hero in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\32470\1125571106\Data\Scripts\Library\eawx-mod-icw\spawn-sets.

The programs I use for making heroes:
Notepad ++
Paint.net
Photoshop.

What I do when I mess up a hero is always compare my custom hero to one from the mod. It also depends on what type of hero(Space, Land, Economic etc.) For your issue, check the <Abilities SubObjectList="Yes"> tags, there you'll see what the Command Bonus/Traits are.

I have not managed to make any customs, but I have been able to edit command lvls of existing heroes, so its a start.


But when I try to give Fenn Shysa the same mando discount trait as Lorka Gedyc I have no idea where to do it. Syntax error for the 100th time now.

Do you have any insight?

Since Steam doesn't allow me to send images, all I can recommend you is to compare the two, see what's different between their code.
