Just finished it solo for the first time [on Dota 2]. I like how I didn't have to turn into a Steam Tank to run through an area filled with skeletons (like in the original WC3 scenario), but keep my hero and just MDK a super annoying tanky tank.

If that was a bug and you really are supposed to turn into a tank in that phase, then...
