Agreed. CS:S should be a game you own/mount on gmod regardless of this map though, TTT/ZS/A million other maps/a tonne of addons all require CS:S.

does gmmod use any cs:go textures? note i own the counter strike complete pack so i dont need to worry about textures.

CS:S is pretty much required with Gmod. There's even a steam bundle with CS:S+Gmod in it.
