Question about map textures
Alright, so I heard most of the objects/textures in the game have missing textures if you DON'T have CS:S ... and I was wondering... if you can't buy CS:S (I don't want to waste money on a game I'm not going to play, just so I can get the textures :< ) I heard you can get JUST the textures for free on some website... but I was wondering... even if it IS legal (Not sure if it is), would it get me VAC banned for using the CS:S textures if I didn't have the entire CS:S game itself? Sorry, I'm just really excited to play this map (and Gmod alone) but would be quite heartbroken if I got VAC banned.
It would be most helpful if one of the creators of this map answered c:

I contacted Steam support about the whole CS:S textures downloads and such, and this is what they said:

"Redistributing any Steam game content is illegal and can cause your Steam account to be terminated.
So does usage of said content.

Well, guess I'll just have to do it old-school and buy the CSS + GMod package.

ps. Ah, yes, so many missing textures *_*

It's really a shame that so many people have to spend 20 bucks on a game they're probably not even gonna play just so they can have the CSS textures.

Even i wasted my money
BUT i could get HL2 Episodes content without a VAC ban for some reason.
