Mass frame drops in the security room

When I go to the security room, the FPS dips to around 49 at minimum, but outside of it is fine (230 FPS average, 300 max on default fps_max command). It's not my CPU or video card since I have a i5 4440 CPU and a GTX 750 Ti. Just wanted to make sure if the room isn't optimized well or is it just me.
