Just tested the map with the material pack on a fresh install of windows and GMod and there seems to be no problems on my end. Are you sure the materials pack downloaded fully? Sometimes GMod might not fully download certain addons, reinstalling typically fixes this.

I dunno if the map's supposed to do this automatically, but the front turrets on the ship keep firing their "missiles" and apparently when i get near one of them, it starts firing like im stepping into a trigger. Dunno if there is an addon causing thissue or what but thats kinda annoying and don't know how to turn those turrets off...

I remember having that issue during play testing, it's a pretty rare occurrence (based on my experiences anyway) and admin cleaning/restarting the map will fix the issue. Tbh I'm not sure what causes that issue.
