I am glad to hear that you have managed to be able to play the prologue!
1. Adding LAA to mowas2.exe file
2. Reinstalling the mod files
3. Updating my graphic card drivers
4. Restarting my PC and lowering the graphics of the game.
Does someone know why this happens and how can I fix it?
I've done the same mate, even clearing the standby cache etc. I think the map is just too large for the game to handle and it is clear that it needs tweaking as there are too many entities on the map.
You could possibly try different resolutions? But the memory thing is mostly down to MOWAS2 itself.
Current workarounds are trying the mission in the editor itself for now. The only trouble is you dont have save options - therefore I have left in "skip buttons" for the player to skip to different areas of the mission.
Okay, I've updated the mod (you will need to resubscribe) and looked at a couple crash reports.
-Removed a significant amount of "grass" and a few tree entities.
-Reduced the minimap resolution and changed file type to .jpeg
-Reduced skybox resolution from 8k to 2k.
I've managed to now load the mission in game fine from here so far. Let me know if there are any other problems!
From the gem editor is playable and the skip buttons are a masterpiece. Keep up the good work mate.
