Possible fix: Connecting to Pudge Wars
Hi, today Valve released an update that tried to fix the connection problem.
It seems that it did not fix it completely though, since people still struggle to connect a lot.

However I think I found a solution that seems to be working most of the time:
*If you see a loading screen / see the start menu in the 64bit - Dota client
*Close the 64bit-Dota client
*Normal Dota window opens
*Click on the "Reconnect"-button
*Now you will connect

This worked for me all the times I tried it. Please let me know if it works for you guys.


(If someone could translate this to Russian I would be very grateful)

Ok Translation Парни у ого x64 бита и после перезапуска доты , когда заработает консоль но в игру у вас не зайдет , парень предлагает выключить и включить доту нажав кнопку реконект зайти в игру , он пишет у него после этого работает!

Как и пишет разработчик, я пыталс подключится к pudge wars, но у меня свернулась игра, и я закрыл 64 bit dota 2, после этого все, ничего, dota 2 32bit не запустилась автоматический, а когда перезапустил сам, там нет кнопки переподключения

well, when i creat a lobby with correct passwort, i cant see another players in da lobby. It looks like i am alone in dat lobby

TurnAround, people have to join your lobby for you to see them. And also we have nothing to do with the lobby system so we cant really fix it.

When I try to launch game, the game minimizes and nothing happens, any idea ?

When you launch the game it should close the dota you are using and start a new dota client (it will be a 64-bit client). If that client doesnt come up it might be because your OS isnt 64-bit or you dont have directX 10. Or your computer is just to slow to handle launching the game.

They pushed a fix tonight that would make it load faster and easier for more people so maybe it is working better today.
