Team Fortress 2

The Hair Trigger

Maybe a slightly different design.
Just something personal. The idea sounds incredibly fun and it could finally make the sun on a stick a viable weapon! And yes, this would still fit into the world of tf2 when scout can whack the living s@&t out of people with a fish. But I just find it a bit... less punchy, designwise at least.

I personally just wish it looked like a gun, rather then a modified hairdryer, probably modified by the engineer. And because of that, it's nice that it has a bit of story telling to it too, rather then the scout just having a bat from hell itself with no explanation and looking like something from dota.

Even then though, I love weapons like the SPAS 12. It has been used in many valve games before and it is such a mean and menacing looking shotgun, no wonder why it has been used in games like Half Life and Half Life 2!

When it comes to the design of this one, while it makes sense, and has a lot of nice bits to it (and I'm sure that it would be a lot of fun to use and would offer a very different playstyle) it just feels and looks weak in my eyes.

And the thing is, there is nothing wrong with this design. I just... feel like it's missing being a bit more menacing, or pounchy. This has to do with the colors, the shape, and the fact that it's a hairdryer. And to be honest, I really don't know what this could be replaced with, but that's why this is in discussions.

Just something that would make this weapon a slightly bit more satasfying to use while it could still stay a bit ridicilous (I mean cmon, it's a ,,pistol" that shoots fire). Although, combining this with the sun on a stick would be so much fun already! If anything then I need combo scout in my system.

Just a suggestion, but I really wouldn't be offended if this ended up in the game. Or to be more precise, I would be extremely happy, but still, my point stands.

Fair, but I think it fits nicely with some other wacky items.
i would personally go a similar route as the beggar's because of it plausibility
This is Team Fortress 2, where a giant ancient cursed sword does the same damage as an empty bottle. Spy shanks people with an icicle. I think this weapon, in its current design, fits in perfectly.
