So... enemy pawns can destroy the weapons mounted to your aircraft. So far so good. But is there really no option to replace them?
For example: I am using the "Support Wings" mod. I have build a Pegasus gunship, which was pretty amazing. It has a 20 mm cannon as the main gun. It also has a 30 mm autocannon as well as a 105 mm howitzer (or something like that). Both of the latter have been destroyed.
I now have a glorified flying bus. And I know, I can slap a bunch of weapons onto the plane, that come with the aerocraft framework mod. Buit those are kind of a pain to use, because won't be reloaded automatically they aren't equipped as the primary gun, you can only fire one at a time and so on. And as of now, I haven't found any way to rebuild the original weapons, that came with the aircraft. The only thing I can do is to scrap the entire plane, lose a bunch of resources doing so and rebuild the entire plane from scratch.
Am I just missing something or is rebuilding destroyed weapons just not a thing in the mod?
