Did you verify integrity? Tried unsubscribing and subscribing again? Not sure what's going on with that, aside from me pushing a broken version onto the workshop in an attempt to fix a few bugs.
I subscribed and used the workshop one on may 1st and it was working with the my mods,
I saw that there was a new release on github with fixes etc so i unsubed deleted the mod and went for that, now the button won't appear to me with either version of the mod, not the github one and not the workshop one.
PS: Could it be that i have another mod that adds a button to the soldier view screen?
PS PS: Yes that was the problem. One of my mod added a subclass specialization window that has overwritten the gunsmith one. I had to drop that mod beacuse it's not maintained since 2018.
"Upgrades unlock part categories" option doesn't appear to be working, I assume it should grey out attachment categories unless a relevant upgrade is on the weapon??
