Bounty Hunter's Brim
You guys think steam should do something about scammers?
This cosmetic has been the victim of a scam as we all know, but I believe that steam should be able to crack down on those fake steam websites that look identical outside of the website name and the scam itself

I'm right now chatting with some poor fella that tried redirecting me to external site to vote for it. Probably stolen account.
oh my god, the exact thing JUST happened to me as well, a guy who randomly sent me a friend request MONTHS ago just asked me to vote for this cosmetic via the bs steam link. I don't understand how the scam is even supposed to work if its easier for me to just search the item up on the steam app rather than log into my steam account on my browser...
Guy named Warhead is trying to scam me with this.
yeah, someone on my friends list started talking about this but when I went to his page there was no workshop posts at all
Yeah, just don't try to log in to steam website trough his link. It will just send login and password to him and boom, you got hacked.
Just got here because of that, hope my friend will get his account back.

Omg I got a similar message minutes ago. "Zeroxx" is the guy's name. So far they didn't send me any steam-ish links, only a link to a youtube post (or so it seems to be), but I'd rather not even click the thing. And, the guy didn't even talk months ago when I added them until just now
just happened to me
i almost fell for this too, i noticed the fake link at the last second and stopped my login. This is the account of the guy who sent me the link: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/profiles/76561199777465090/

Yeah, it's first major red flag. He has in it link looking like steam website and it's most pobably his bag of stolen passwords and accounts
