Should this be a weapon?
Okay, I'm stupid, but i think this should be a wep. Maybe it'll be in the pistol loadout slot and you take 25% less bullet damage. I don't know...I'm just really stupid. :tradingcard:

No. Just... No. There is NO way this will ever be any kind of weapon, primary or secondary. EVER. He loses the shotgun, he loses one of his most valuable assets of building defense besides the sentry itself, and secondary would ruin his mid-range harassment damage, or another defense utility. The Engie's main focus is protecting his sentry and, therefore, his team, not himself.

Plus, this is too "big" to be a weapon.
There's backpacks, shields...
But not apparel changing things.

Every passive weapon thus far has either been on the back or feet, and is typically very protrusive and noticable for game balance reasons. Changing that formula would only serve to confuse new players.
