Vermilion 2
I am re-writing the addon from scratch, and would like input. Please keep any suggestions to this thread so I can keep track of them.

Ideas for suggestions:
* Things you liked about the old version that I should keep
* Things you disliked about the old version that I should remove or change
* Things you liked but thought could be implemented better
* New things to add

Possibly add a checkbox for SV_CHEATS 1 that would only work for the server owner. Is this possible?

I hope everything is kept on there. I really liked pretty much every feature it had.

Lua access to sv_cheats (and a few other convars/concommands) is blocked by Garry's Mod. Sorry :(

You can see this by typing
lua_run RunConsoleCommand("sv_cheats", 1)
into the gmod console and you will get
RunConsoleCommand: Command is blocked! (sv_cheats)

Slowly making progress on Vermilion 2 (I completely forgot how much effort I put into making the current version... there is a lot of code going on there...)

Here is a draft of the new menu design: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=325246728

Some behind-the-scenes changes:
* The menu is now skinnable (You need to know lua though)
* The animation is different
* The menu loads instantly instead of building all the tabs when you open it
* The content window (right) is capable of automatically re-sizing itself to match the content of the tab

Any opinions?

Oh, it still moves. Quite a bit more this time. But it's faster, smoother, and probably a bit more flexible due to the automatic resizing. No more complicated space-constricted GUIs!

Progress update:

Adding new rank editor

Ranks are now modified directly on the server instead of having to upload the new rank list from the client.

The white buttons are disabled buttons. They will be enabled when you click on a rank in the rank editor, or a rank and a permission in the permissions editor.

I already fixed it, did I not? There is code in Vermilion to migrate the TTS hook (well, not just the TTS hook, but every hook that is blocked by Vermilion) over to a custom read-only hook automatically.

I'm also setting up a Steam Group so pepole don't have to add me to get my attention.

May you add the ability to see what commands players are executing? make it where only certain ranks with the permission may see it. In the this version you're making of course
