+20% more damage per pellet
+25% faster firing speed
+15% faster equip speed
-35% less clip size
-20% less pellets
-15% slower reload speed
basically making this a medium ranged weapon but under performs in close range due to the actual shotgun irl having a really dummy long effective range and having a pretty tight spread
A auto shotgun that you have to load prior to shooting?
of course, i'm saying this from the perspective of someone who loves the current version of the panic attack and has never used the old version, so please disregard any bias that may be bleeding through here.
+ If all pellets connect on the target, +20% more damage per pellet (does not stack with first-shot bonus)
+ passively reloads with damage from either the minigun or a melee (25 damage done = 1 shot reloaded, kill = 3 pellets reloaded)
+ no random bullet spread
- +25% slower reload speed
- no random crits
> Made to work in tandem with the minigun, as when using the shotgun, time that could be spent doing more damage is spent reloading, this idea tries to help fill that niche
I actually really like that idea. Making it accurate to what the real life ♥♥♥♥♥♥ part is like. My favorite part has to be the less pellets as this is a 4 gauge shotgun if I remember correctly.
But in terms of viability, this could be a shotgun that might overpower the others, or something that might just fade away in the dark. Either way, heavy already has a primary weapon that overshadows the need of a shotgun, but i could see this as a tool when you are retreating and such, as heavy is pretty weak in long, or in even medium ranges. So I ccould see this weapon being useful while retreating, to potentially scare away some foes, or to have a better advantage against people who are out of your range. Or maybe to even finish off people who are out of your range. So this with something like the tomislav could be really affective, and it stays true to the actual gun, which I really like.
Pros +the further the pellets flew, the more damage it does ( max 80-90 damage if all pellets will get )
+10% more accurate
Cons-30% damage
-34% clip size
-No random crits
yeah, it would be like the Tomislav tbh, just an accurate shotgun that is more hinged on the long range picks than you know, trying to use it close range
i meant deploy speed tbh, i wasnt really thinking much when typing that in
Level 23 Hoovy duty shotgun
+ Hold Fire to load up to 4 shotgun shells
+ Release Fire to unleash the barrage at 223% increased fire rate.
+ 50% bullets per shot.
- Successive shots become less accurate.
- Cannot taunt while fully loaded
Heavy's Beggar's Bazooka anyone?
