dumb units
For some reason, in battle, all the units are so dumb on both sides, I send them to the back of the enemy, and they give their back to them and not attack, I click to attack, and they just throw theirs javelins and stay some meters off the enemy standing menacingly and receiving a storm of projectile's. I did something wrong? Only have 3 mods DEI, DEI dynamic combat and rivers of blood gore edition

I have noticed these issue too. Path finding and infantry throws are pretty annoying

ye the only way is to try micromanaging 20 units or 40 units, eventually the Romans units can became a little better at surviving but in the beginning they are complete lost, din't play enough with the other factions to know

Is this a mod issue or a Rome II issue?

is more of the mod, because you need to change your melee units to melee when they use all their javelins if not they will stand looking to the enemy doing nothing waiting to be charged

in vanila they go melee after the javelins
