the one and only Khajiits!!!!
I hope to release Amazing Race Tweaks! Khajiit before the end of the week. It will feature increased jumping height, lower falling damage, muffle and better sneaking, as well as other abilities and powers.
(Thanks to ShinjouB for starting this discussion thread.)
The Dark Elf race came in second, as I counted votes from the comments and elsewhere. Breton will be done before races that did not receive a vote. I'll be releasing a mod for Dark Elves after the mod for Khajiits. Breton will be released before races that do not receive a vote. Thanks to all who voted in the first round.
There is still time to vote for the next round of races. I continue to keep adding mods for different races as the votes come in. So please let me know what race you'd like added to the series.
Hence, I vote for Imperial!
My first character was a wood elf, so I'm leaning toward making such a mod. Increased bow speed, faster running, always muffled, able to make any animal a permanent follower, maybe even the ability to make spriggans followers. Yeah, I can't wait to make it!
I've been trying to figure out what to do with Imperials. Maybe give them a mind control ability, something like a Jedi master? Instead of just calming, they might actually be able to make even an enemy a follower. Just thinking out loud.
With both Dark and High elves, lower Magicka costs would be a good idea, though it should probably only apply to one or at BEST two "schools" of magic for each, like Conjuration/Destruction for Dark Elves and Alteration/Restoration for High Elves.
I also think it wouldn't be a bad idea for EVERY race in Skyrim to have a Magic "specialization" that costs less Magicka to cast/is more effective, but that would work better if there were more "Schools" (classifications) of Magic in Skyrim. More like the Schools of Magic in older Dungeons & Dragons, even though SOME of them are already in TES games
