I didn't expected to have to end the same guy twice though.
Glitch_Hop the Malware : The Onyx Warrior, this was the first version of the mod. Jackal's Journey takes this to the next level and addresses these concerns. This is a small guide for beating the levels in the grunt mode:
Pillar of Autumn, the last marines by the Escape Pod
Halo, kill the three Cyborgs the Pelicans drop off
Truth and Reconciliation, kill Captain Keyes
Silent Cartographer, the final marines after the Pelican arrives
The end of Truth and Reconciliation crashed the game for me, had to restart. Resume started at Silent Cartographer and I could move on past the maw without a second crash.
To be fair, the whole mod kinda has an identity crisis between nap time fantasies of killing Keyes and being Master Chief... Or maybe we're chief in cryo secretly wishing to be a grunt? it's all rather obscure for that part.
Still... Now that I managed until there, the second part also puzzle me. Is there supposed to be an end to the Bloodgulch battle, or is it just infinite fun with your convenant of choice?
^^' Thanks for the confirmation. Still a nice job for the in-game storytelling in the first few levels considering how it must have been very wild for modders of that era!
