Difficult in the beginning.

I met the first spider after opening the first secret door and was immediately destroyed. After creating a new party, I ended up getting trapped by two spiders after moving forward. It seems pretty difficult to pit the party against spiders right away without a save.

For that matter, I don't remember encountering spiders that early in the original Eye of the Beholder game. They shouldn't be there.
