A Guide to Classes
Elkay's Roleplay Tools: A Guide to Classes

Guide written by: Chr1sKenobi

Minor modifications done by Elkay

Introduction
This guide will be a relatively step by step guide to setting up the classes, class benches, and engrams. It may seem like a lot, but once you get the hang of it, its a breeze.

A few disclaimers:
-Class changes/engram changes only go into effect fully after a server restart
-This guide is mainly for the admin side of things, I will have a player guide at the bottom

Step One: Global Settings
There isn't much you need to do here for classes, the main 2 thing is to set how many classes you want a player to be able to have and class UI on spawn. For how many classes, the default is set to 1, but you can set it to as many as you want. It is recommended to check class UI on spawn, however this will conflict with some other mods (such as CE: Races, when set to show the mirror on spawn). Players should be given a class scroll upon spawning when this is disabled, however if this is not the case they will need to be provided one.

Step Two: Classes!

General UI Overview
From top to bottom
-Drop down: Can cycle through all of your classes
-Class name: What you want to call your class
-Description: Sets the description of what players will see. It is recommended to add the class engram and bench to avoid confusion.
-Level Requirement: What level a player needs to be to learn the class.
-Enabled: Checked means players can learn the class
-Discard Changes: Removes any changes made to an existing class
-Update Class: You must hit this to confirm the class Will add changes to an existing class or create a new one
-Save All Changes: You must hit this to save all changes, even if you already hit update class This will save all changes made to classes, make sure you do this at the end to save progress.

You can set as many classes and you want, and play around with how many classes players can have and level requirements. You can add subclasses, masterclasses, and realistically anything you desire!

Set Three: Class Benches

A few disclaimers:
-Only the selected class can access and craft the items in a class bench
-Class benches do not need to be learned, they will appear in player crafting inventory
-Make sure to remove the engrams of benches that you add to Class benches. This has to be done manually.

Overview
Class benches have two possible purposes: Can lock crafting of items that don't have engrams and to condense crafting tables into one. For locking items that don't have engrams, this is mainly for modded benches. So for example, if you wanted to lock baits from immersive taming to a tamer class, you can set all of the bait stations to be in one inventory and only the tamer class can access it.

General UI Overview
From top to bottom
-Drop down: Can cycle through all of the class benches.
-Structure Pp Path: This will be what the bench looks like and the base inventory. Make sure the BP path doesn't have the cheat gfi or numbers at the end.
-Additional Inventories: You can add multiple crafting benches into one.
-Update Current: You must hit this to confirm the bench Will save changes made to the bench or create a new one.
-Save All: You must hit this to save all changes, even if you already hit update current This will save all changes made to class benches, make sure you do this at the end to save progress.

Step Four: Engram Settings

Disclaimer:
-This is the most confusing yet most important section. You need to be paying attention to what you are doing as mistakes can make the entire engram system not work.
-Engrams are all preloaded in, so you do not need to add any in.
-If you do not set up an engram, it works as normal.
-Engrams will need a server reset to fully go through. Sometimes players will see changes beforehand, usually needs a reset for it to go through

What to watch out for
-Make sure you do not set up the same engram multiple times, it will cause it to freak out.

General UI Overview
From top to bottom
-Search: Allows for you to search through your set up engrams.
-Dropdown/New Modification: Where all of your set up engrams are located. You also scroll all the way down and click New Modification to set up new engrams.
-Find Engram: Allows for you to search through all engrams.
-Blank dropdown: Can choose the engram you would like to set up

Defaults: Very Important you keep an eye on these
-Allow Manual Unlocking: People can spend points to unlock the engram if enabled (sometimes freaks out, recommend having it enabled).
-Give to Inventory: Players can craft the item in their player inventory if enabled, even if it usually requires a bench. (sometimes freaks out, more case by case) Note: This will NOT remove craft inventory requirements.
-Class Engram: Makes the Engram the requirement to unlock any of the other class engrams. Disclaimer: Choosing multiple class engrams for the same class WILL BREAK THE CLASS. Make sure you only have one enabled. Each class will need it's own engram, multiple classes cannot share the same engram.
-Custom Description: Will add text to the engram in the engram screen. So can say which classes have it, rules to using it, etc.
-Class Pop Ups: If you check a class, then it becomes a class locked engram. You can check multiple classes to give it to multiple classes.

Once you make an engram
-Delete: Will delete the engram edit and make it a base craft.
