Did i need to equip the sword of winter before entering the keep?
For the Free prisoners, it was intended to be started by talking to Mayor Jambit (west side of town inside the entrance gate. I changed it to either start there or start when you enter the dungeons now, so you will be able to complete that either way.
I haven't pushed the update, but if you let me know whether you have a prior save or want me to add a town crier temporarily I will do either.
For the free the prisoners, just enter the dungeon (should trigger starting the quest) and then go talk to the dwarf in one of the cells.
As for the carnival, it is in the Emerald Mine Entrance area just east of the Kerran Town (after it turns into a town). The carnival is north after you enter the area (the mine is to the east so if you enter the mine you went too far). There's a fortune teller there that has a sort of side "quest" for you to another area called the Gauntlet.
Prisoners are there yep, so all good, thanks again.
