why have different parts?
Without the mod loaded
With the mod loaded
The mod removed all of the sparks of the future DLC blocks, only the Sci-Fi interior wall, the pipes and the Ion thrusters remained, the rest are missing.
Also, I have a few suggestions:
- The sci-fi wall can use some adjustments, it’s a block that you’re going to use a lot (making up a wall), maybe add a few extra details in the texture or bump maps
- In my opinion the pipes don’t need a hole in the middle since its going to be covered anyways, it’s a waste of triangles and I suspect SE renders that hidden internal faces
- One thing that can be really helpful in terms of performance are conveyors in the form of blocks like the armor blocks (a cube) since sometimes conveyors are hidden inside walls or sometimes ruin walls, they could use the same base model with their corresponding texture for each junction and maybe be painted with armor skins
2) What mods do you use in conjunction with this mod?
1) I followed the instructions for the manual installation, didn’t add the mod to the world just replaced the SE files
2) I have like 200+ mods but this one was the issue, also the only mod that I’ve installed replacing the game’s base files, I had to delete the files it replaced and use the steam option to check the files integrity to recover the original files and the issue was fixed, well kinda, I still have six blocks showing up for each face of the Sci-Fi Block
As I've mentioned in my previous post, I did open the CubeBlocks_SparksOfTheFuturePack file from the mod and noticed that there’s only the definition for the Sci-Fi block, so it disables everything else
