artillery nerf
I'm not the first in the comment who says that the current version is to ez, therefor, it is very long and sometime boring before feeling any treat. I really believe it is because of the way artillery is too accessible.
If the artillery player were not doing each around 2k kills .. I think the challenge would start to show.. but you can't take them out and the artillery gamer will never leave thier meet grinder event if it ruins everyone else day...Also cause it is a cool mechanic loved by many player but if at least they were long to build and ez to destroy or if we had only balista for the first flags and explosive catapult only at the last moment idk... im no game developer.. so lets talk about that!

if the AI used their Artillery more to counter the player it would be nice but they will walk away from it after one use

Artillery is the sole reason some waves are passable. Not everyone on your team is going to be fantastic so getting to knock out a handful of people is nice. Besides, half the shots you take (primarily on the ballista) don't register/deal damage. I've seen my shots land in swaths of enemies and they don't take damage, same goes with ordinary arrows.

What I don't like is the fact the archers spawn in such volume that you have to fight them from afar or force them into a bottleneck otherwise people start dropping like flies because of how precise they are. Even when you do the two things I mentioned its still very difficulty especially when you have to worry about other troops coming at you.

a necessary evil. However, it only takes one half-decent player on 'em and every wave is basically easy mode.

Completely agree - They just eliminate any threat and challenge to survival.

Artillery effectiveness is very dependent on map and your team but still a necessary evil, else those archers waves just bulldoze through everyone.

Stronger Captains and some cav waves on the open maps would be a good balance start for more challenge.

Maybe devs should increase arti reload time, like 300% of current reload time, imo that would help
